IREDELL CO., NC – Five people face charges and six trucks have been seized following a street takeover near Mooresville.
Troopers were called to Barfield Road around 5:10 pm on Monday for reports of people driving careless and recklessly.
When troopers arrived, they say they found Barfield Road completely blocked due to an illegal street takeover.
Troopers seized six trucks and turned them over to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
Five adults and a juvenile were charged with careless and reckless driving, street takeover, and injury to real property.
The adults are:
Eli Chance Pharr, 18, of Stony Point
Gage Myquea Angel Jr., 20, of Cleveland
Isaiah Antonio Villegas, 27, of Statesville
Nicholas James Lufkin, 20, of Mooresville
Nathaniel Madison Harris, 27, of Statesville
