Lincoln Co. deputies are searching for 26-year-old Hope Vergara.
LINCOLN COUNTY, NC — The body of a missing woman from Lincoln County has been found according to the Lincoln County Sheriff.
26 year-old- Hope Vergara was last seen before 6 am on Sunday morning. Family says she walked away a home on Don McGinnis Road and described her as an at risk individual.
The sheriff says her body was found off nearby Davis Road after an extensive search that included both a land search and a swift water rescue search in the South Fork River and ponds in the area.
No foul play is suspected in this case.
