IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — Iredell-Statesville Schools will operate on a 3-hour delay on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 due to rural areas with icy conditions.
Per Iredell-Statesville Schools, “While we understand the majority of the roads are clear, there are still quite a few rural areas with icy conditions in the shade. Our team has been monitoring these areas. The increase of daylight and time for DOT and our maintenance department to continue clearing these areas will make it safer for our bus drivers, parents, and student drivers to get to school. Iredell-Statesville Schools will operate on a 3-hour delay on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.”
The district will continue to monitor conditions and make an additional call on Tuesday morning if needed.
