CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Charlotte Hornets forward Brandon Miller is out indefinitely after suffering a torn ligament in his right wrist, the team announced.
Miller underwent an MRI after sustaining an injury in the Hornets’ win against the Utah Jazz on January 15. It revealed Miller suffered a torn scapholunate ligament.
Miller is averaging a career-high 21.0 points, 4.9 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 34.2 minutes per game over the course of 27 games this season. He finished third in Rookie of the Year voting and was named a 2024 NBA Rising Star in his rookie season.
Updates on his status will be provided when appropriate, the team said.
The Hornets next play when they host the Dallas Mavericks on Monday, January 20 at 12:00 p.m.
