CHARLOTTE, NC – CMPD says 22-year-old Daniel Wheeler has been arrested and charged with the murder of 18-year-old Jordyn Campbell.
Campbell died after a shooting on Nobles Avenue in west Charlotte on December 29, 2024.
Wheeler is charged with murder, attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle. Jail records also show he faces 2 counts of probation violation.

CHARLOTTE, NC – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department says 18-year-old Jordyn Campbell died after a shooting on Nobles Avenue in west Charlotte on Sunday.
The shooting happened around 1pm at an apartment complex. Police were called for an assault with a deadly weapon when they found Campbell with a gunshot wound.
Detectives have not released any more information about the shooting or the shooter.
