CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Sweet news for Charlotte Krispy Kreme fans! Krispy Kreme is expanding its everyday menu at two retail shops in the area, offering guests “more faves to crave.”
The expanded menu is part of a test Krispy Kreme is implementing in select U.S. markets. The menu includes returning popular doughnuts that were offered previously for a limited time only, flavors fans have asked for on social media and trending new flavors.
“We love bringing our fans more flavors that they love. These delicious new doughnut varieties have been heavily requested, and we can’t wait to see our fans’ reaction,” said Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme Chief Growth Officer. “We’re always coming up with new ideas. This test will assure that these new flavors are exactly the right additions to our line-up of fresh, melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts.”
Increasing the volume and variety of Krispy Kreme doughnuts in Charlotte not only gives fans more to enjoy but more they can share. New flavors offered at the Krispy Kreme shop located at
119 North Sharon Amity Road are:
- New York Cheesecake – an unglazed doughnut dipped in white icing topped with graham crunch topping and filled with cheesecake flavored KremeTM.
- OREO® Cookies and Kreme™ – an unglazed doughnut topped with OREO® cookies & Kreme™ filling, dipped in OREO® cookie pieces, then drizzled with white icing.
- Cinnamon Swirl – an unglazed doughnut tossed in cinnamon sugar and topped with cream cheese icing.
- Biscoff® Cookie Butter Kreme™ – an unglazed doughnut filled with Biscoff® Cookie Butter flavored Kreme™, dipped in Biscoff® cookie butter and Biscoff® cookie pieces, then drizzled with white icing.
- Original Glazed ® Cake – an Original Glazed®, old fashioned cake doughnut.
The Krispy Kreme shop located at 2116 Hawkins St. is offering those five doughnuts as well as these new flavors:
- Cinnamon Apple Filled – an unglazed doughnut tossed in a sweet powdered cinnamon coating and filled with apple cinnamon filling.
- Maple Iced – an Original Glazed® doughnut dipped in maple icing.
- Black & White Chocolate Chip – an Original Glazed® doughnut dipped in white icing, topped with chocolate icing drizzles and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Chocolate Caramel Kreme™ – an unglazed doughnut dipped in chocolate icing, topped with a swirl of caramel flavored icing and filled with Chocolate Caramel flavored Kreme™ filling.
The new doughnuts are available individually and by the dozen for purchase online and at the shops.
