CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The City of Charlotte awarded a construction contract to Blythe Construction for the Rail Trail Bridge. Next steps include execution of the contract and a pre-construction meeting with Blythe Construction.
The city works closely with Waze, a GPS mobile app, to provide real-time driving directions based on live traffic updates. We recommend all motorists install and use Waze to ensure the most accurate, up-to-date driving directions.
The project team will send regular updates on the construction schedule, construction milestones and any construction-related road or lane closures.
