Discount airline is adding nonstop flights from Charlotte to Tampa

CHARLOTTE, NC – Frontier Airlines says it is launching new nonstop service from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) to Tampa International Airport (TPA) this spring.

Flights will initially be offered twice per week starting on May 2, 2025. The number of flights will increase to four per week starting May 22, 2025.

“This new route will mean more convenient and ultra-low cost travel options for North Carolina consumers as they plan their 2025 travel,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design, Frontier Airlines. “As we enter the new year, we are launching the next chapter of The New Frontier, providing consumers even more ways to enjoy the best value in air travel and experience a more seamless and comfortable journey.”

With this new route, Frontier will serve 14 destinations from CLT. To celebrate, the airline is offering fares as low as $29.

Fares must be purchased by 11:59 pm Eastern time on Feb. 6, 2024.  Fares are valid for non-stop travel on select days of week through Aug. 18, 2025. The following blackout dates apply: May 22-23, 26, 2025; Jun. 28-29, 2025; Jul. 3, 5-6, 2025. Round trip purchase is not required.
