NEWTON, NC – A man is now charged in connection to the death of a woman in Newton.
Catawba County Sheriff’s Deputies got a call on Sunday about a woman found dead inside a home on Springdale Drive.
They found Crystal Lynn Carroll Willard’s body and started looking into what they called a suspicious death.

Investigators are waiting on autopsy results to determine Willard’s cause of death.
