Protest held outside of Sen. Thom Tillis’ office in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC — Dozens of protesters gathered outside of Senator Thom Tillis’ Charlotte office Thursday to voice their concern about what’s going on in Washington.

Many said they are frustrated that Tillis has confirmed some of president Trump’s controversial cabinet picks.

They are also frustrated with some of the president’s executive orders.

While Trump won North Carolina in the election, protesters said Elon Musk was not a part of the plan.

“We also want Senator Tillis to defend the constitution and stop Musk’s hostile takeover of the US government,” organizer Carolyn Eberly said.

The protest was organized by Nonprofit Indivisible Charlotte.
