All lanes are back open following a crash on I-85 in Gaston County

GASTONIA, N.C. — All lanes on I-85 south in Gastonia are back open tonight following a crash involving a tractor-trailer. According to the Department of Transportation it happened around 6 pm Monday near exit 17.
Officials have not said what led to the crash. All lanes were shutdown as crews worked to clear the scene.
