Ashe County Schools will be closed Thursday, February 12 due to inclement weather.
Avery and Watauga County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay.
A message from Avery County Schools, “Due to trees/limbs continually falling from ice and multiple power outages, we will operate on a 2 hour delay on Thursday, February 13th. We will check roads in the morning and let you know by 7:00 am if we need to make a schedule change.”
