Forecast:
Tonight: Increasing clouds. Lows hover close to freezing.

Saturday: AM possible ice in the mountains. Rain moves in from the west through the morning. It will be a cold, cloudy and wet Saturday. Pockets of heavy rain possible through the first half of the day. Highs stay in the low 40s.

Sunday: Widespread rain and isolated strong storms. Damaging wind and hail will likely be the main threats. Highs in the mid 60s.

Washington’s Birthday: Sunny. Highs near 50.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny. Increasing clouds. Highs in the low 50s.

Wednesday: Watching for a wintry mix in the piedmont. Highs in the low to mid 40s with lows falling to freezing overnight.
