We’re starting the day with bitter cold temperatures and dangerous wind chills — some spots in the mountains are feeling like -5 to -10 this morning. While skies stay mostly sunny, highs will struggle to reach the upper 30s to mid 40s this afternoon. It will be very cold again tonight, but without the wind allowing temps to settle in the teens and 20s.. We’ll slowly start to warm up this weekend as high pressure moves east. By Sunday highs will climb back into the mid 50s, and by Monday temperatures will near 60! The next front moves in Tuesday, but outside of the mountains we won’t see much. Midweek highs will soar near 70 with better windespread rain chances Wednesday night into Thursday.
