We’re starting the week on a quiet and mild note, with high pressure keeping conditions dry and temperatures gradually warming up. Highs will top out in the low to mid 60s Monday with lows alling into the upper 30s overnight. By Tuesday and Wednesday, a downslope wind will help boost temps into the low 70s — making it feel like early spring and the warmest temps of the week. Humidity will be low, and with dry conditions there be a slight increase in elevated fire concerns. But, that will end quickly with a cold front Thursday. The cold front will trigger scattered showers and a few storms. The severe threat looks limited, but can’t rule out a few storms producing gusty winds with rainfall totals under 1/2″. Behind the front, tmepratures will fall briefly back into the upper 50s Friday, before warming back into the mid 60s to start the weekend.
