Juveniles arrested for car break-ins in south Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Four juveniles were taken into custody after allegedly breaking into multiple cars in south Charlotte earlier this month.
On Feb. 9, police were alerted to multiple car break-ins at a shopping center off Ardrey Kell Road.
Police said one victim reported a stolen firearm from their vehicle and that the suspects were already driving a stolen car.
Officers identified several juvenile suspects and obtained search warrants. During the search, police said they identified four juveniles, seized three firearms and a key reprogrammer used to break into vehicles.
Three of the juveniles were taken to the Cabarrus Regional Juvenile Detention Center. One juvenile was released to their mother, police said.
