CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A new study revealed that Charlotte is the city with the fifth-most financial distress across the country.
The WalletHub report studied the 100 largest cities to find where financial struggles are most severe in the United States.
Overall, Charlotte ranked fifth-most distressed with a total score of 66.65, according to the WalletHub study.

- 6th – Average Credit Score (Q4 2024)
- 26th – Change in Number of Bankruptcy Filings – Dec. 2024 vs. Dec. 2023
- 25th – “Loans” Search Interest Index
- 25th – “Debt” Search Interest Index
