Two arrested, 52 pounds of drugs found in Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE, N.C. – Two people were arrested after police said they found 52 pounds of drugs in Taylorsville on Wednesday.

Officers conducted a search warrant at a Taylorsville home and allegedly found 52 pounds of marijuana. Police said they also located drug paraphernalia, a handgun and cash.

Dalton Lindsey, 25, and Jami Singleton, 25, were each arrested and charged with the following

  • Trafficking Marijuana
  • Possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana
  • Maintain vehicle, dwelling for controlled substance
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Child abuse

Both received a $50,000 secured bond.
