Westlake Ace Hardware to open two more stores in Charlotte area

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Westlake Ace Hardware announced Thursday that it will open two new stores in the Charlotte area.

The store locations will be at the Ballantyne Commons East Shopping Center off John J Delaney Drive and the Village Commons at Wesley Chapel shopping center off Weddington Road.

“We are excited to open two new locations in the greater Charlotte area and deepen our relationship with the community as a friend, a trusted neighbor, and an employer,” said Joe Jeffries, president and CEO of Ace Retail Holdings, the parent company of Westlake Ace Hardware. “We look forward to serving our new neighbors and showcase how we live the Ace Helpful Promise daily through reliable service, helpful advice, and the products our customers need to get their projects done right.”

The 9,000-square-foot Ballantyne location will start renovations this spring with a soft opening set for late summer 2025. The Wesley Chapel location will be a 15,000-square-foot store and is tentatively scheduled to open in early 2026.

Westlake Ace operates 14 stores in North Carolina. A new location at Charlotte’s Rozzelle Crossing Shopping Center will open Friday, February 28th.
