CHARLOTTE, N.C. โ The Charlotte 49ers 2025 football schedule was released Friday and is highlighted by a game at Bank of America Stadium, a home game against North Carolina, and a trip to Athens to play the Georgia Bulldogs.
The 49ers open the season at Bank of America Stadium against Appalachian State on Friday, Aug. 29 in the Dukeโs Mayo Classic. The home opener at Jerry Richardson Stadium will be against the Bill Belichick-led North Carolina Tar Heels on Sept. 6.
The Niners will play one game on a Thursday in September and two additional Friday games in October.
Charlotteโs toughest matchup of the 2025 season comes on Nov. 22 when they travel to Athens to take on Georgia.
