GASTONIA, N.C. – A Food Lion in Gastonia is recalling three varieties of in-store prepared ground beef because it may contain traces of foreign material.
The store in question is located at 2211 N. New Hope Road.
The recall affects all sizes of 73% lean fresh ground beef, 80% lean fresh ground chuck and 93% lean fresh ground beef. It only affects these three varieties sold at the one store.
The affected product was produced on March 1 after 1 p.m. with a Sell By Date of March 3.
Customers who bought any of these ground beef products may return it to this Food Lion for a refund equal to double the purchase price.
