Save program applications removed from the DOE website
WASHINGTON, D.C. — Student loan borrowers can no longer apply for an income-driven repayment plan.
At least for now.
The Department of Education temporarily removed the online applications for income-driven repayment plans.
This comes after a US Court of Appeals blocked the agency from implementing former President Biden’s “Saving on a Valuable Education” plan – last month.
The plan reduces monthly payments and shortens the time it takes to receive student loan forgiveness.
