Suspected thief swallows diamonds

ORLANDO, FL – Orlando Police say it took some time but they have finally recovered several pairs of diamond earrings stolen from a jewelry store.

They say the suspected thief, Florida man, swallowed the stolen goods as they moved in to arrest him.

Authorities had to let Mother Nature take its course before they could retrieve the items.

The earrings have a street value of nearly $770,000.
