A one-stop resource center has opened in Caldwell County for individuals, small businesses, and private non-profit groups impacted by Helene.
The resource center is on the third floor of the Health and Human Services Building at 2345 Morganton Boulevard in Lenoir. It will provide disaster recovery resources from state and federal agencies.
Services include:
- Help with applying for FEMAβs individual assistance program and appealing FEMA decisions. The deadline to apply for FEMA assistance is April 7.
- Answers to questions and assistance with appeals through NC Emergency Management
- Assistance with the SBA loan process
- Help working through challenges caused by the storm and identifying available resources through the NC Disaster Case Management program
- Assistance applying for private property debris removal
The resource center is open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. through 5 p.m.
