Shakira announces special guest for Charlotte tour date in May

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Shakira announced that special guest Wyclef Jean will join her on stage for her tour stop in Charlotte next month.

The show, set for Tuesday, May 13 at Bank of America Stadium, is part of her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.”

Her performance in Charlotte will kick off the North American leg of the tour.

Shakira and Wycle Jean teamed up for the 2006 hit song, “Hips Don’t Lie.”

Shakira secured the No. 1 spot on the Billboard’s Top Tours chart for the first time of her career last month.
