Wounded veteran gifted electric car

ARDEN, N.C. – A wounded veteran in North Carolina received a free electric car.

Military Warrior Support Foundation teamed up with Wells Fargo and Sunshine Chevrolet in Arden, North Carolina. They handed over a Chevy Equinox to a former U.S. Army sergeant, Kevin Ager. 

Ager served in Iraq and Kosovo. Since Helene, he’s been helping out his community in Fairview by assisting homeowners with repairs.

“I’m at a point in my life where I really couldn’t buy a new vehicle, and it was so great to get the support to be able to continue to do what I do, help other people,” Ager said. “I’m really grateful for the foundation, too. It’s just an amazing thing.”

Ager says this donation will make it a lot easier for him to see his friends and family.
