The Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday the launch of its new mobile app.
The app is free and designed to keep citizens safe, engaged, and informed.
“This is just another step forward for MCSO. But it’s also important to provide the public with a platform to communicate with us, to talk with us,” Sheriff McFadden said. “I am eager to see where this app takes us and how we can use it to better serve and protect the citizens of Mecklenburg County.”
The app allows users to navigate various features, including:
- Arrest Search: Access up-to-date information about arrests in Mecklenburg County
- Gun Permits: Learn about firearm permit requirements and applications
- Career Opportunities: Discover job openings and how to join our team
- Community Engagement: Find ways to get involved and make a difference in our community
- Alerts and Emergencies: Receive real-time notifications about events and emergencies in the area
The MCSO app is available on both the App Store and Google Play.
