Lawncare app launches in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC -Lawn work just got easy thanks to a  smartphone app.
It’s called Green Pal and we met Co Founder, Gene Caballero, who’s proud to announce the service is now available in the Queen City.

“We knew that Charlotte was a market that we needed to launch as soon as possible,” Caballero said.

“I’ve been in the landscaping industry kind of my whole entire life and kind of saw the inefficiencies and, you know, trying to grow a business.
And also on the homeowner side, trying to find somebody reliable to do it,” he explained.
Green Pal fills that gap, kind of like the Uber or Lyft equivalent of yard work.
There’s even a rating system for service providers.
“After every vendor does a service, a homeowner rates them, they give them a star rating, and they also give them a qualitative feedback.
When a homeowner gets a quote, they’re able to see the vendors ratings, reviews and price, and then they decide who they want to work with based on that criteria,” said Caballero.
Through the Green Pal interface app users can list the services they need done and vendors can place a bid.
Users pick the best price for them for everything like, landscaping and mulching to aeration and pruning.
Caballero said since the app took off in 2015 he’s seen plenty of success stories
“We’ve had, you know, great success stories with somebody starting out with a push mower and a weed eater.
Now they have a $15,000 trailer with, $30,000 worth of equipment with five people working for them.
If you’re willing to do the work, there’s always work to be done,” Caballero said.
Sign up for the app is free, no need to look far next time your lawn needs a little love.
