Paige Blue is charged with murder after the fentanyl death of her baby.
LENOIR, NC – A woman is in jail in Caldwell County charged with murder and felony child abuse after the death of her baby in 2023.
Lenoir Police arrested 27-year-old Paige Blue on Wednesday after her extradition from Lee County, Florida.
Police were called to Blue’s home on Forrest Hill Park Place in Lenoir in the early morning hours of March 16, 2025.
They found her seven-month-old baby unresponsive. First responders did CPR, but the baby died.
Investigators say the baby died from fentanyl toxicity, following a lethal dose of the drug.
Blue is being held without bond.
