CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are conducting a homicide investigation after one person was shot and killed overnight in south Charlotte.
It happened around 3 a.m. in the 500 block of Branch Way Court off East Arrowood Road.
When police arrived, they located one person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call 704-432-8477 and speak to a Homicide Unit Detective.
