COLUMBIA, SC – Family and friends are remembering a 22-year-old woman from Waxhaw who was shot and killed while visiting friends in South Carolina.
The shooting happened on May 3, 2025 at a home on Cypress Street in Columbia.
Police say Logan Frederico died from a gunshot wound to the chest.
Alexander Dickey is charged with the murder of Logan Federico.
Police say 30-year-old Alexander Dickey shot Frederico after breaking into the home and stealing several items, which included credit and debit cards.
Dickey also accused of going on a shopping spree with the stolen cards before officers arrested him.
Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook says Dickey faces various charges including Murder, Arson, Burglary, and Grand Larceny. His bond has been denied .
