CHARLOTTE, NC – A man has been arrested following the investigation of a disturbing video that showed an opossum being set on fire.
Charges for Cameron Bernard Torrence include instigating cruelty to animals, fleeing and eluding arrest and probation violation.
A video was posted on Facebook showing a group of people dousing an opossum in fluid before setting it on fire Thursday, April 24.
The profile was linked to Bernard Torrence.
The initial video has been removed from the Facebook page, but the opossum was still being discussed on his profile.
We are working to learn if the other people in the video were also identified.
