Changes may be on the way for SNAP benefits
There could be some changes on the way for your SNAP benefits.
House Republicans are looking at making the changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.
Changes would include new work requirements.
A source says the House Agriculture Committee is considering moving the age of work requirements for able-bodied adults to 64 years of age.
Another possible change under consideration would require parents of school-age children to work or volunteer 20 hours per week or 80 hours a month.
