ICE contradicts local school principal, says arrest was not made near CMS school
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Immigrations and Customs Enforcement issued a statement to WCCB on Wednesday about an arrest that upset parents at a local school. It’s an update to a story we first brought you Tuesday on the News @ Ten.
Officers arrested Adrian Ojeda-Calvillo Monday near his home in east Charlotte. They say the arrest was not made near a school, as reported by one principal.
ICE goes on to say Ojeda-Calvillo has an extensive criminal history, including convictions for domestic violence, assault on a female, robbery, kidnapping and breaking and entering.
