CHESTER, SC -The Walmart on J A Cochran Bypass in Chester reopened Thursday afternoon after being closed for a about two hours because of an incident in the parking lot.
The Chester County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that there was no active threat inside the store, but that the Walmart closed while law enforcement investigated an incident involving one person in the parking lot.
The sheriff’s office say law enforcement cleared the scene around 2:30 pm.
There is no information on what happened in the parking lot.
