Large police presence outside arcade in east Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A late-night crime scene outside the Freedom Arcade at North Sharon Amity Road and Albemarle Road. That’s in east Charlotte. Our crew saw a heavy police presence, crime scene tape, and a detective around 11PM Friday.

CMPD has not released any information about why they were called to the scene or what’s going on. As soon as we get new information into the newsroom, we will bring it to you.
