Discussion:
Unseasonably cool and soggy for the unofficial start to summer. A wedge has settled into our area, trapping the clouds and keeping on and off rain chances to start the week. Highs for Memorial Day will only reach the mid to upper 60s with on and off showers possible. Tuesday will be the coolest and wettest day with highs struggling to break out of the upper 50s to lower 60s. An upper level low will lift north over the Ohio Valley by midweek, leading to clouds slowly clearing. A cold front will approach the area Thursday, just as temps warm back near 80. A few storms will be possible late week, but severe threat continues to remain low. We’ll finally get a chance to dry out this weekend with highs back into the low to mid 80s and minimal rain chances by Sunday.
