CHARLOTTE, NC – The Charlotte Black Film Festival (CBFF) proudly announces its 15th annual celebration, taking place June 5–8, 2025, at Ayrsley Grand Cinemas in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This year’s theme, “Creative Grace,” honors the divine flow of storytelling and the transformative power of Black creativity in film and media.
Founded in 2010 by Tommy Nichols, CBFF has become a cornerstone event for Black filmmakers and storytellers, providing a platform to showcase their work, celebrate culture, and tell authentic stories. The 2025 festival will feature film submissions from 32 states and 13 countries, reflecting the rich diversity and global reach of Black cinema.
