CHARLOTTE – The Taste of Charlotte Festival in Uptown and the Savannah Bananas games at Bank of America Stadium will impact traffic this weekend in Charlotte.
The Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) will temporarily adjust the following routes due to road closures.
The following roads close at 9 a.m. Thursday and will remain closed until 11:30 p.m. Sunday:
- Tryon Street between Trade Street and Brooklyn Village Avenue
- 4th Street between Church Street and College Street
- 3rd Street between Church Street and College Street
- Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between Church Street and College Street
- Levine Avenue of the Arts
Riders should also expect higher than normal ridership and demand on the CATS Blue Line, Gold Line and bus services.
