Outlaw Motorcycle Club House shooting leaves one dead, one critically injured in Newton

NEWTON, N.C. — One person is dead and another person is in critical condition following a shooting at the Outlaw Motorcycle Club House, according to Newton Police.

Officers were called to the scene shortly after 2am on North Main Avenue in Newton where they say they found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.

Authorities say one victim died at a local hospital and a second victim was flown by helicopter to Atrium Health in Charlotte where they are listed in critical condition.

Police say the scene is secure and there is no immediate threat, but authorities are asking for the public to stay away from the area.
