CHARLOTTE, NC – One person died after a shooting at an apartment complex in the University City area Wednesday night, according to police.
CMPD says the shooting happened around 11:30pm on Hyde Pointe Court, off W. Mallard Creek Church Road.
Officers responding to a call about an assault with a deadly weapon found the person who had been shot.
Medic took the victim to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
No other information has been released.
