Talk, Truth, Tea: R. Kelly overdoses in prison

BUTNER, N.C.– Lawyers for R. Kelly say the disgraced R&B singer was hospitalized last week after overdosing on medication that prison staff gave him. Kelly is serving a 30-year sentence in Butner, North Carolina for racketeering and sex trafficking. His lawyers say prison staff gave him too much of his anxiety and sleep medications. Kelly spent two days in the hospital. His lawyers say he was scheduled to have surgery for blood clots in his lungs.
