Boater cited after confrontation on Mountain Island Lake

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Video of a confrontation between boaters on Mountain Island Lake is getting a lot of attention on social media.

Now, we’ve learned one of the boaters has been cited for reckless boating. The dangerous run-in is raising questions about wake regulations on the water.

WCCB Charlotte’s Chris Gilmore spoke to boaters on both sides who say someone could’ve been seriously hurt.
