One person shot in afternoon shooting on North Church Street

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person is in the hospital after a shooting in north Charlotte just outside of Uptown.

It happened around 4:30 Thursday afternoon on North Church Street. MEDIC says one person was shot. They were taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

No word from CMPD about an arrest or possible suspect.
