Tasty Tuesday: Strawberry Shortcake cookies

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — We are back in the kitchen for another Tasty Tuesday. Chef Kartez cooks up some strawberry shortcake cookies.

Here’s the recipe:

  • 2 and 1/4 cups of all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 and 1/2 cups fresh strawberries chopped up

Bake on 350 degrees for 15-18 minutes until browned.
