Reward money in Asha Degree case now up to $100,000

SHELBY, N.C. – The reward in the Asha Degree case has grown to $100,000. North Carolina Governor Josh Stein announced an additional $25,000 on Wednesday.

Nine-year-old Degree left her Shelby home early in the morning on Valentine’s Day in February of 2000 and hasn’t been seen since.

Investigators searched a property in Cleveland County connected to this case earlier this year.
