UPDATE: Arrest made after clerk says she was sexually assaulted during robbery
UPDATE:
LENOIR, NC – A man wanted for sexually assaulting a woman during a robbery at a convenience store in Lenoir is in jail.
The woman says a man sexually assaulted her Monday at the Run-In convenience store on Hickory Boulevard.
Police say they identified 28-year-old Dylan Tolbert as a person of interest.
Officers arrested Tolbert on an unrelated matter early Wednesday morning.
He was then charged in connection to the convenience store robbery.
Tolbert is charged with second degree forcible sex offense, common law robber and larceny of a motor vehicle.
He’s being held in the Caldwell County Detention Center on a $350,000 bond.

LENOIR, NC – Police hope surveillance photos can help them identify a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman working at a convenience store during a robbery.
It happened Monday at the Run-In convenience store on Hickory Boulevard in Lenoir.
The woman told police the man walked into the store, sexually assaulted her, stole money from her and the cash register and then stole her car.
Police found the car crashed and stolen a not far from the store.
