Salisbury Police make arrest in June homicide investigation
SALISBURY, N.C. – The suspect in a Salisbury homicide that happened late last month has finally been caught.
Salisbury Police Department detectives say 47-year-old Jamal Staton shot and killed 45-year-old Cleveland Davis on East Liberty Street.
He later died at the hospital.
Staton is now being held at the Rowan County Detention Center without bond.
