FAA investigating after planes collide
CHARLESTON, S.C. – The FAA is investigating after two planes collided at the Charleston International Airport.
The accident happened just before 10 p.m. Friday night after a Breeze Airways flight from Las Vegas to Norfolk had to divert to Charleston because of thunderstorms.
As the parked plane waited to be refueled, an All Nippon Airways Boeing 787-10 wing struck the other plane’s tail.
Two people were checked out for minor injuries.
