CHARLOTTE, NC – The brand new videoboard at Truist Field is ready to put a whole new meaning to the big screen. The Charlotte Knights proudly present Food & Films, where three feature films will be shown at the ballpark.
The first Food & Film event of 2025 is on August 22 and presented by Dream Finders Homes. Set up your blanket in the outfield or grab a seat in the seating bowl and enjoy the evening with the beautiful views of Uptown Charlotte while Wicked (2024) plays on the ballpark’s state of the art video board.
Special appearances will be made on August 22 by Glinda and Elphaba, while Wicked-themed specialty food items will be available for purchase during the event.
On October 10, Ghostbusters (1984), also presented by Dream Finders Homes, will air in conjunction with this autumn’s Pumpkin Patch and Fall Festival. Elf (2003), presented by Coca-Cola Consolidated, rounds out this year’s lineup and is scheduled for December 17.
Tickets for Wicked are currently on sale. Individual tickets are $20 or $15 for groups of ten or more. Children two and under receive free admission. Additional details about all three screenings can be accessed at CharlotteKnights.com.
All proceeds from the Food and Film events benefit Charlotte Knights Charities to support their efforts in serving the Charlotte community.
